Business Manager

THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD THIS POSITION CAN BE REMOTE Forecasts, controls, and reports project costs needed within an organization. Develops and provides project variances, trending and analysis of expenditures, and completion reports. Reviews project costs incurred by category, calculates future costs based on labor productivity, material price increases, subcontract, wage rates and risk analysis. Under general direction, uses specialized knowledge or skills to solve complex and unique problems. Under broad direction, is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related disciplines or sub-groups within the project controls function. Establishes priorities for the completion of assigned tasks. Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices. May direct resources, prioritize tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members. Relies upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of project controls to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy. Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to managers or professional staff. Participates in the development of project controls strategy and may be responsible for global processes and procedures in estimating, project risk control, cost control, and scheduling.
