The role supports reliable supply, competitive value creation, risk management, and continuous improvement across technical and commercial supply chains. This role is responsible for developing and executing commercial and supply strategies for chemicals, catalysts, and/or industrial gases in support of business objectives. The successful candidate will bring strong technical and commercial acumen, downstream oil and gas experience, and the ability to translate market insights, supplier input, customer needs, and business priorities into actionable strategies that deliver reliable supply, competitive value, and leading performance. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement sourcing, commercial, and market strategies aligned with business plans and operational priorities. Assess market opportunities, threats, supplier capabilities, cost drivers, and competitive dynamics to support sound business decisions. Provide commercial guidance to business partners and support benchmarking activities to improve performance and value delivery. Lead cross-functional projects that require coordination across procurement, technical, operations, supply chain, commercial, and supplier organizations. Build and maintain complex strategic relationships with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, customers, and industry partners. Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen commercial outcomes, supplier performance, and Operational Excellence/Reliability, and operational execution.
