The Strategic Issues & International Litigation Group (SI&IL) is responsible for the oversight, evaluation, and management of complex, high-stakes litigation and investigations as well as business support for Chevron’s Chief Strategy Officer, the Corporate Strategy function, Enterprise External Communications, and other business functions related to climate, strategy, and other complex and emerging legal, policy, and regulatory issues. The position will be located either in Houston, TX. Requisition ID # R000071493 This position will report to the Supervising Counsel of Corporate Strategy and be part of a tightly integrated team reporting to the Chief Counsel for Strategic Issues & International Litigation. This Counsel/Senior Counsel role will serve as a key advisor to the Corporate Strategy function at Chevron, providing strategic legal guidance on matters of significance to the enterprise. Corporate Strategy is Chevron’s enterprise-wide center for strategic direction, portfolio shaping, capital guidance, and decision analysis.
