Partner with the best As the HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring construction, installation and commissioning activities are executed safely and aligned with Baker Hughes’ safety requirements. As an Environmental Health & Safety Advisor - Health and Safety, you will be responsible for: Collaborating with the Project Manager on look-ahead plans and work scopes. Following up on Management of Change (MOC) processes and actions. Conducting new employee safety orientations. Maintaining knowledge of Texas Environmental Regulations (Air, Waste, and Water). Delivering toolbox talks and safety briefings. Assisting in organizing project safety campaigns and awareness programs. Verifying contractor and employee training records and certifications. Conducting daily site safety inspections and observations. Monitoring work activities to ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards. Verifying the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Assisting in enforcing safe work practices and stopping unsafe work when imminent danger exists. Monitoring compliance with permit-to-work requirements, including - Hot Work, Confined Space Entry, Excavation and Trenching, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), working at Heights, Crane and Rigging Operations Participating in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Hazard Analysis reviews. Identifying workplace hazards and recommending corrective actions. Conducting pre-task safety reviews with work crews. Assisting supervisors in
