Engineering Advisor - Customer Application Engineering

Partner with the best As an Engineering Advisor - Customer Application Engineering you will be responsible for developing creative and robust solutions and turning them into effective proposals for Baker Hughes's customer/client base. As an Engineering Advisor - Customer Application Engineering, you will be responsible for: Preparing the technical proposals of rotating equipment (auxiliary systems) and participating in negotiating proposed solutions including but not limited to technical solutions and costs etc. Preparing, within the required timeline, the most attractive technical proposal at first submission (i.e. including but not limited to the selection of rotating equipment and its auxiliary systems) using ITO tools and following ITO policies and procedures and implementing, where appropriate, innovative technology (NPD). Leading techno commercial discussions with clients on configuration, performance, and economics while interfacing with the commercial/sales team. Applying product and quality policies, addressing, and mitigating risks per Baker Hughes/BH procedures. Presenting the overall technical picture to senior leaders on how the proposal is fulfilling the overall strategy to win. Documenting effectively all communications, technical specifications, costing rationales etc. to facilitate smooth handoff to the Order to Remittance team. Communicating across direct organization.
