Finance Manager - FP&A Operations
Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities Responsible for the preparation and accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP for the North America Offshore region, Drilling Services & Drilling Completion Fluids and ensuring internal controls are properly working. Responsible for managing the business cycle- 3-year plan, budget, forecasts at each level of the organization. Define KPIs to measure the performance in all areas of the organization- Operations, MFG., R&D, ENG, Supply Chain. Analyze the performance and propose action plans to improve profitability and cash generation as well as corrective action plans as needed. Advises Functional managers or other Functions regarding approaches, processes, and procedures in the own field. Support overall NA Ops Leaders with commercial finance responsibilities focused on product line and customer revenue analysis. Handles communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems. Leads as a project leader of medium sized projects or is a major contributor to bigger projects. Work goals typically take 3-6 months to complete and the time horizon for results/impact is typically 2-12 months after the event. Some of the tasks might include (but not limited): Journal entries preparation, account reconciliations, weekly revenue/margin files set up and distribution, etc. Due to different deadlines during month end, there will be an expectation of working extra hours, especially during quarter end. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 3 years of experience in Finance). SAP/HFM/Anaplan/cFIN working knowledge preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
