Partner with the best As the Global Category & Sourcing Director, you will play a key role in managing a team of Category Mangers responsible for designing and driving our 3rd party spend strategy for the assigned scope, ensuring a balance of cost optimization, risk management, supplier relationships, and strategic alignment to drive value and competitive advantage for the organization. This role also ensures sourcing strategy compliance to category strategy through the assigned Sourcing team members located in the Product Line and Regions. Reporting to the Global Sourcing and Procurement Director, you will lead a team of Category and Sourcing Managers and collaborate with Product Lines and Regions to deploy the category plans in line with the business’s strategies. As Global Category & Sourcing Director, you will be responsible for: Developing and managing high-performing team of Category and Sourcing Managers. Providing leadership on the global category strategy and ensure Product Lines and Regions are aligned on the implementation and execution of the strategy at global and local levels. Establishing and ensuring delivery of subcategory goals leveraging spend data analytics, market research, and strong internal and external relationships. Supporting the implementation of comprehensive category plans, aligned with Baker Hughes corporate business goals and multiple product lines, considering market drivers and trends on pricing, risk management, and supplier performance.
