Responsibilities include preparation and review of air permit applications, as well as support for state and federal air quality inspections, data requests, and regulatory inquiries. The position also supports the development and enhancement of air compliance management tools that integrate state and federal air permitting, emissions estimation, and reporting requirements, and assists with emissions mitigation initiatives. A strong understanding of North Dakota and federal air regulations is required to effectively advise operations and construction teams and to support sustained regulatory compliance. Air Permitting and Compliance Minor and major source air permitting under North Dakota and federal programs, including application preparation, updates, reporting, and ongoing compliance support. Applicability determinations and compliance support for NSPS and MACT standards applicable to oil and gas operations. Implementation of new and revised North Dakota and federal air regulations in coordination with corporate and technical advisory teams. Regulatory Programs and Reporting NSPS OOOO/OOOOa/OOOOc/OOOOb compliance support and reporting. EPA Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reporting. Annual air emissions inventory reporting. Emissions estimation (including potential to emit calculations) and supporting documentation for permitting and reporting. Technology and Monitoring Support Support deployment and use of advanced methane detection and measurement technologies, such as continuous emissions monitoring systems and LiDAR flyovers.
