The role also provides people leadership for a small Shipping IT team and aligns work to business priorities, vessel schedules and operational risk Chevron is accepting online applications for the position IT Asset Operations Deputy Site Lead, Shipping through August 12th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: • People Leadership & Team Development: Lead and coach a small team by setting direction, delegating work, clarifying ownership, supporting transitions and creating a pragmatic culture that balances accountability, flexibility and trust. Own PMP responsibility for the team. • Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnership: Partner with Shipping leaders, Fleet Technical, shipyard personnel, managed service providers, engineering and enterprise platform teams to align priorities, resolve blockers and maintain visibility on commitments and risks. • Governance, Compliance & Risk Management: Translate enterprise requirements into vessel realities, represent Shipping in cross-functional discussions and ensure solutions account for operational safety, support models, vendor dependencies, shipboard cyber, access and compliance activities. • Maritime Application & Service Reliability: Coordinate issue triage, validate ownership boundaries and ensure application migrations, upgrades and support transitions are planned with awareness of vessel operations and business impact. • Shipboard IT Operations & Escalation Management: Lead operatio
