Fuel your passion As a Machinist V, you will support Aero and Machine Shop operations by operating large CNC and manual lathes, Vertical Turning Lathes (VTLs), and milling machines. You will manufacture and repair gas turbine, steam turbine, and aero-engine components while maintaining tight tolerances and meeting OEM requirements and specifications. You will interpret technical drawings and machining requirements, perform complex machining operations, and ensure quality execution of repair and manufacturing activities that support critical customer equipment. As a Machinist V, you will be responsible for: Supporting a strong safety culture and promoting a safe-to-start mindset in all operations. Aligning large rotors, gas turbine components, and parts within tight tolerances for machining, grinding, and runout corrections. Programming CNC lathes, VTLs, and milling machines to support production and repair activities. Reading and interpreting OEM drawings, Repair Engineering Instructions (REIs), work instructions, and digital routers. Applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to machining and inspection activities. Calculating and setting machining parameters including speed, feed, coolant flow, depth of cut, and cutting angles. Entering, retrieving, and editing CNC machine programs and control media. Monito
