KBR Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Practice Leader - Power & Energy Systems to join our growing power sector consulting practice. This role requires strong technical expertise in power generation technologies, including natural gas combined cycle, renewables, and energy storage, coupled with experience in project development advisory, pre-FEED and FEED. This Practice Leader will be responsible for the overall Power Generation Practice, as well as be a key member of the Americas Consulting Leadership team, reporting to the Regional Director. The successful candidate will lead technical studies, front-end design efforts, and client engagements supporting utilities, IPPs, and developers in project execution and energy transition initiatives. The role will be based in Houston, working in a hybrid model. Other remote locations will be considered, based on vicinity to assets or client concentration. Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Provide expert advice on generation technologies: gas turbines, combined cycle, solar, wind, nuclear power, battery storage, and additional solutions like hydrogen blending and carbon capture.
