Senior Advisor - Tax Accounting

The Senior Advisor – Tax Accounting will support the company’s global income tax accounting and reporting processes, with primary responsibility for U.S. GAAP income tax accounting under ASC 740. This role will play a key role in the preparation and review of the corporate income tax provision, including uncertain tax positions, tax disclosures, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external auditors. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise from a Big 4 tax accounting background and experience working in a complex, multinational environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review the U.S. GAAP income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740 , including current and deferred tax calculations, effective tax rate analysis, and supporting schedules. Translate complex tax accounting results into clear, concise “storytelling” for finance leadership and other non‑tax stakeholders, explaining key drivers, risks, and period‑over‑period changes in a practical, decision‑useful manner Partner with Tax Legal on Uncertain Tax Positions, supporting accounting, ASC 740 analysis, roll forward preparation, tracking, and financial statement disclosure. Maintain uncertain tax positions schedules and roll-forwards, connecting technical analyses to accounting decisions and financial impacts. Support quarterly and annual financial close processes, including tax-related disclosures for SEC filings (e.g., 10‑Q, 10‑K). Partner closely with Tax Compliance, Legal, FP&A, and Controllers to ensure accurate reflection of tax positions in the financial statements. Support internal and external audit inquiries and maintain SOX‑compliant controls related to income tax accounting.
