KBR is seeking a Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting in Houston, TX to lead the company’s external reporting and technical accounting functions. Reporting to the Director of SEC Reporting, this role oversees the preparation and review of SEC filings, provides leadership on complex accounting matters, and drives process improvements across the finance organization. This position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and U.S. GAAP while partnering cross-functionally to support business initiatives and maintain a strong, effective control environment. Key Responsibilities SEC Reporting: Lead the end-to-end preparation, review, and filing of all SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and earnings releases, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with SEC regulations and U.S. GAAP. Oversee the development and review of financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, disclosure checklists, and all supporting documentation, including tie-outs and XBRL tagging through Workiva and Wdata. Coordinate closely with Business Units, FP&A, Tax, Investor Relations, and other stakeholders to gather required inputs and produce high-quality disclosures.
