Senior Systems Analyst

Candidates must be a permanent resident or US Citizen The Systems Analyst supports the analysis, documentation, and delivery of software solutions for the NASA Life Sciences Portal (NLSP). This role works closely with stakeholders, development teams, and management to ensure requirements are clearly defined, documented, and implemented while supporting Agile development processes and continuous improvement initiatives. Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for the NASA Life Sciences Portal (NLSP) Develop and maintain key documentation, including User Guides, System Architecture documents, and Concept of Operations (CONOPS) Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit requirements and translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria supporting major software releases Facilitate customer meetings, capture detailed notes, and provide clear summaries to track decisions and action items Lead and support Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog grooming Monitor, document, and report project progress to stakeholders and management Prepare and deliver status presentations to leadership Identify process inefficiencies and lead improvement initiatives, including backlog reduction efforts (e.g., bug triage events) Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across requirements, development, and delivery. This position is onsite at Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. Candidates must be a permanent resident or US Citizen Required Skills: Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder to be eligible. 6+ years of experience with Bachelor’s or master’s degree
