Title: Senior Technical Professional Mechanical (6 months contract) Job Title Rotating Engineer (Contractual for 6 months on Agency payroll) Division: KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets. Summary Section: Functions as a technical specialist who would be responsible for the technical quality of the Data Sheets, Specifications, and Technical Requisitions for Rotating Equipment and Packaged Equipment. Responsibilities: Selection & application, preparation of Data Sheets, Specifications and Technical Requisitions, technical evaluation and Supplier document reviews, participation in inspection & testing, Post Erection Inspections, Commissioning and Field Troubleshooting as required for proprietary Rotating and Packaged Equipment for various KBR technologies. Prepare estimates for new KBR proposals. Assist with estimating staffing and schedules technical communications with clients. Under broad direction, functions as a technical specialist who makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities of the company. Negotiates critical and controversial issues with top-level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies. Shall have active role in training of new personnel to the industry and KBR. Candidate shall be managing direct reports, establishing individual performance goals and objectives and reviewing performance against objectives. Maintains a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all governmental regulations and corporate safety guidelines.
