Total Number of Openings 1 Chevron Venezuela is accepting online applications for the position of Supervisor Centro de monitoreo bombas electrosumergibles located in Maracaibo. Real-Time ESP Surveillance & Diagnostics (20%) Continuously monitor ESP performance parameters including amperage, intake/discharge pressures, PI, frequency, vibration, and motor temperature. Detect early warning signs of ESP underperformance, anomalies, or failure trends using IOC analytical tools. Execute first-level troubleshooting and recommend corrective actions to field teams. Production Optimization (30%) Analyze well inflow/outflow behavior and recommend setpoint adjustments to maximize system run life and production efficiency. Identify opportunities to increase performance, decrease failure rates and reduce operational downtime. Collaborate with Reservoir and Production Engineers to align interventions with field optimization strategies. Event & Alarm Management (10%) Manage alarm dashboards; classify, prioritize, and escalate abnormal events. Perform root-cause assessments using ESP performance models and historical well behavior. Document events and follow up on corrective actions with field operations. Cross-Functional Collaboration (20%) Communicate clear operational recommendations to field personnel, artificial lift crews and maintenance teams. Participate in daily DSC–Field alignment meetings to review performance KPIs and intervention plans. Support multi-disciplinary teams including Reservoir, Facilities, and Production Engineering. Data & Reporting (20%) Maintain well performance dashboards and performance scorecards. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly ESP performance reports. Support continuous improvement efforts for surveillance workflows and automation tools. Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.
